Our company recently booked a Potomac Tiki Club cruise for a corporate team event, and it exceeded every expectation.
From the moment we stepped aboard, Tessa and Rich made us feel welcome and immediately became part of the experience. They were the perfect combination of professional, personable, and fun. Not only were they outstanding sailors who made everyone feel safe and comfortable on the water, but they were also fantastic bartenders and hosts who kept the atmosphere relaxed, engaging, and enjoyable throughout the entire cruise.
What truly stood out was their customer service. Tessa and Rich went above and beyond to ensure every member of our group had a great time. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in creating a memorable experience for our team. It felt less like we had hired a crew and more like we were spending the afternoon with friends who happened to be experts at what they do.
The boat itself was also in excellent condition—clean, well-maintained, comfortable, and exactly what we hoped for when planning a unique team outing on the Potomac.

Our group 14 had such a good time on the boat with Malcolm and Captain Luke! It was the perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Our cruise was BYOB and snacks, so we got to enjoy ourselves while seeing DC from the water, which was a first for us. Would highly recommend, and hope to do it again next year.

From the very first interaction, the customer service was outstanding. When we needed to update our reservation, the team handled everything smoothly and quickly, with a genuinely helpful attitude. It made the whole experience stress-free before we even stepped on board.
And then we met Captain Matt and First Mate Malcolm — and honestly, they made the trip. Captain Matt ran a flawless cruise with warmth and professionalism, and Malcolm was attentive, friendly, and just a joy to have on board. Together they created an atmosphere that felt both polished and totally relaxed.
The Josephine herself was spotless — and yes, the restroom was clean and well-maintained, which anyone who's been on a boat cruise knows is worth calling out!
This is a gem on the Potomac. Highly recommend for a surprise birthday party, a group outing, or anyone who just wants a beautiful, well-run experience on the water. We will absolutely be back!

It's our second time renting the Tiki Bar and touring the Potomac. Captain and his assitant are very attentive, we brought lunch which was fun to eat while cruising, and the drink selection was great.

Had the best time! The instructions to drive were straight forward and easy. The boat moves slow so it isn’t noisy or windy (which I appreciated). Really enjoyed our time! Will be doing it again.

I didn’t rent the boat myself, a family friend did for her birthday and we had a BLAST! We had Maggie and Luke and they were very nice and friendly. I’d definitely go back! 10/10!!

Awesome night! The captain and skipper were so friendly and made sure me and my friends had a great evening celebrating a bachelorette party!! There was a beautiful sunset and the captain gave us monuments as backdrops for pictures and positioned us to see planes fly overhead. Definitely recommend this as an activity. It was a hit in my group!

This was a really great experience - went twice - once with friends and their young kids (who were mesmerized by the waves, ships, birds, etc.), and once with girlfriends celebrating a 40+ birthday. The crew is approachable and communication is seamless - a human responds relatively quickly to your queries via text. The location was easy to find, and the ride was as advertised. I'd recommend and would return again. Thank you for the excellent customer service and the upfront pricing. BYOB made it fun, we played our music, and everyone was super relaxed. P.S. crew said September is a great time to get out on the water.

This was my second time cruising with PPC and there was 19 of us ladies. We BYOB/food and unwind with great scenery during the cruise. The crew is always fantastic, taking photos and hyping us up. Price point is totally reasonable. The weather was *perfect* and their energy was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend!!

My friends and I rented the retro boat for a birthday, and we had the best time! The range for distance is rather limited as is the speed. However, it is perfect to relax, chat, and snack. You bring on your own food and drinks. A Bluetooth speaker was provided, but we ended up using our own. I think we had trouble connecting or it was out of power. Suggest bringing your own as back up! Malcolm was the gentlemen who helped us get settled, and he was great! He provided clear instructions and was a pleasure to interact with. Thank you!

Words are not enough to describe the experience we had. My now fiancé proposed on the most beautiful vintage boat, and it was truly a dream come true. Everything about it felt magical and perfectly planned.

The 50th birthday party I hosted on the Tiki Cruise was sheer perfection! The boat was comfortable, clean and we really appreciated having a bathroom on board. Josh and Matt were so hospitable and accommodating. Josh even maneuvered the boat to give us a Lincoln Memorial backdrop to our group photo. Potomac River ambiance, music, cocktails, sunset and good friends made it a night to remember. Highly recommend this as a unique DC experience.

I went on a company outing on Whitlow’s on Water and it was amazing! All of the staff, Scott, Jay, and Rich, were very friendly and accommodating, especially with waiting for a few people who were running late. The boat ride was smooth and relaxing, the service was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this for a group get together or company event.
