Sea Suite Cruises RVA was founded with the mission of bringing people together for scenic celebrations to sea and be seen. The River City loves the James River, so in 2022 we introduced Pontoon Party Boats (formerly Paddle Club RVA) and Tiki Boats (formerly Tiki Club RVA) to the James to give Richmonders an opportunity to experience the James like they never have before. In 2024, we added Retro Boat Rentals RVA to the fleet!

Loved it! It’s easy to get caught up in the “go out to dinner or a bar” and rinse and repeat.
This is such a fun change of something to do and a whole other way to see the city!

It was a great cruise! We went out for a wedding in the middle of a complete downpour. During the ceremony the captain kept the engine as quiet as possible and cruised gently. He kept us safe and got us back to the dock while we enjoyed a great celebration! One of the most unique, memorable and fun weddings I have ever been involved with!

Wonderful captain and 1st mate. Friendly and accommodating to our group. Sunset was beautiful on the river. The boat could have been a bit more clean, spider webs under the bar area🫣 and dress casual for when I sat down on the bench seats I got wet.

Nice crew, easy sailing, music you want thru Bluetooth connection, cold water, bathroom onboard, and a 1 3/4 hour ride at sunset if you book the 7:30pm cruise. We enjoyed a quiet family glide up and down the river, but it could turn into party boat easily. The crew is fantastic. Book your cruise and you’ll see what I mean. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The crew was very accommodating. Kimberly was very nice. The captain help us get our things on the boat and it was a very rainy day. We were soaked, but they were very calm and had a very positive attitude the whole time.

We booked a private tiki boat river cruise for a work outing and had an amazing time. The crew was fantastic, and the whole experience was relaxing and fun. Our group thoroughly enjoyed it. I’d highly recommend it for both personal and corporate events!

What a lovely river cruise. Being out of state it was nice to view the city skyline from a different view. The boat was not crowded and we had a very relaxing and interesting time. The staff was knowledgeable and very pleasant. Sit back and enjoy!

Booked a cruise for my husband's birthday! We enjoyed our time and the crew was awesome! All safety precautions taken and procedures followed to the letter. Very safe and enjoyable for the whole family. Definitely recommend this experience!!

Team trip, there were 8 of us and we had a wonderful time. The icebox in the center of the table was a great surprise, too - kept our drinks cold! And even on a hot day, the shade from the roof was just enough. Great experience.

Went on the Cruise today May 24th. Was a wonderful experience. Crew were very nice, helpful to make our experience special. Colby took pictures for us ,which was nice and answered any questions we had. Was very enjoyable, relaxing and a lovely way to spend some time on the water. Boat was very nice and comfortable.

My girlfriends and I took a Sea Suite Cruise from Rocketts Landing Sunday afternoon, September 7. It was a thank you to my girlfriends who cooked for me and cared for me after my surgery a couple months ago. The day was cloudy, a little cool and drizzly, but the weather did not dampen our spirits. After we pulled out the rain let up and the experience was the best. Nick, the captain and Kimberly his mate couldn’t have been nicer and made the trip even better. Everyone enjoyed themselves and a good time was had by all. I would definitely recommend this cruise to anyone wanting to get together with their friends and family.

Girls’ Day was a success! This was our second cruise with Sea Suites and once again they did not disappoint. The staff were so attentive and helpful. We had the best time and look forward to our next cruise.

We had a reservation as my daughter is visiting from Illinois. We showed up and a storm was rolling in, we decided to go ahead and take the boat out. We started out heading up river and a huge lightning bolt struck up river. We turned around a headed straight back to the docks. Their people are so friendly, welcoming and understanding. I was told they would refund me and the next day it was in my account. I would highly recommend as it’s a great boating experience and they are beyond fair.

These social, active adventures are the perfect way for friends, families, and colleagues to sip, sail, and celebrate on the water! Our Pontoon Party Boats, Tiki Boats, and Retro Boats are BYOB so you can enjoy the view with your drink(s) of choice! You’re empowered to drink whatever beer, wine, seltzer, or canned cocktail (such as High Noons) that you fancy. The one exception is that we do not allow bottles of hard liquor (I know – we wish we could but unfortunately we can’t, sorry!).
You’re also welcome to bring your own food (BYOF) to enjoy on your cruise! We’ve had everything from small snacks to full spreads. Our boats are outfitted with built-in cup holders, coolers, USB charging stations, and large Bluetooth speakers to set the vibe with your preferred tunes.
