Whitlow’s on Water offers a comfortable and welcoming space for individuals seeking a delightful escape on the water. Three dedicated staff, a bartender, a captain, and deckhand will be at the service of our passengers to create a fun and inviting experience for all!
The boat is equipped with 2 TV’s, surround sound speakers, an 18-foot U-shaped tiki bar surrounded by barstools, luxurious cushioned upholstery seating around the exterior, a bathroom, party lighting and a disco ball for night cruises, and tropical decor to make you feel as though you’ve been transported back in time to Whitlow’s on Wilson’s tiki rooftop and shipped out to the Potomac.

I went on a company outing on Whitlow’s on Water and it was amazing! All of the staff, Scott, Jay, and Rich, were very friendly and accommodating, especially with waiting for a few people who were running late. The boat ride was smooth and relaxing, the service was wonderful, and I would highly recommend this for a group get together or company event.

Great experience! The bartender, Noel, was amazing! The captain was great. The only thing that could’ve made this better is if there have been a way for individuals to purchase the unlimited drink package individually. We were not aware that if everyone in our group didn’t purchase it we wouldn’t be able to purchase it individually. This can be easily fixed by using wristbands (available at Party City FYI).

Such a great time! I booked this cruise for a corporate event of about 30, and everyone loved it. The cruise itself was delightful, food was great, drinks even better, crew is awesome, and the team in the office on the planning side was fantastic: very quick to respond, gave so much info up front, and just very nice to work with. 10/10 would recommend!

Had a great time with Captain Matt, Glen and Jay! They were very knowledgeable about watching the incoming bad weather and really made the most of our time. Would for sure recommend!

Absolutely amazing! The private cruise with the all inclusive option is easily the best option in any of the booze cruises available on the Potomac! The crew was so accommodating, interactive, and friendly!

Had a Birthday Celebration a 30 for 30 sports themed party. The crew was amazing! Top notch hospitality from the start! Definitely would recommend and would do this again

What a fantastic team for the Whitlow’s Tiki Cruise. The staff took such good care of us and it was a perfect sunset cruise. We even managed to find a double rainbow as we set sail from the Wharf.

The two hours flew by because we were having so much fun! The team was professional, friendly, and made us feel safe during our entire trip. Highly recommend it for any celebration or just because.

We liked the tiki boat so much we did it 2 days in a row, once for a birthday party for our daughter turning 21, then for a friend heaving town. A great 2 hour each time all along the DC waterfront. We were able to play music from our phones over their sound system each day, which was nice. Great bartender and a friendly crew!

Recently went on this boat for a birthday celebration and had a fun time overall! The weather, unfortunately, was pretty rough—it was miserably cold, which made it a bit uncomfortable. Thankfully, the boat staff were very kind and handed out the few blankets they had, which was greatly appreciated.
Note that this cruise is *not* BYOB, but the drinks sold onboard were surprisingly affordable, which was a nice plus.
I'm giving it 4 out of 5 stars mainly because I'm not sure it was fully worth the price. We didn’t get to see much of the Potomac, as the boat just circled a small area, and the trip ended earlier than expected. We departed at 1:45 PM and docked by 3:30 PM—short of the advertised 2-hour duration. I understand they need to stay on schedule, but I don’t think it’s fair to cut time short for guests who arrived on time just to accommodate latecomers.

Kind & understanding when the birthday boy was late! The crew was fun and smiled the whole trip……. Everyone was so nice! We will recommend them to all our friends!

Had a wonderful time!! Will probably try to do this when I’m up to DC for long weekends. I think Whitlows on the Water is a great spot and is ideal for any occasion whether it be Birthdays, parties hangouts, or just two friends catching up!! Get there early to grab a seat close to the bar and your set 👍🏻 👍🏻

Had an awesome time at our company party with Whitlow’s on the Water. Karlee, Sousa and Brad made sure we kept things safe and fun, and Connie kept the drinks flowing. Hoping to be back for our next outing, and would definitely recommend for any groups that are looking for awesome service & hospitality, great food and drinks and a more relaxed pregame before a night out. Celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday on the Whitlows boat. We were 25 people and everyone had a great time. The captain, bartender were super nice and very attentive. We highly recommend your next event with them! It’s lifetime memories we made to cherish forever.

Went on a little booze cruise for a friend's birthday and loved it! We played our own music on a nice sound system, plenty of comfy seating, drinks were reasonably priced, they even had football on 2 TVs! Will definitely be booking again!
Public Cruise Details
Group Size:
1-47 passengers (ages 21+)
(You can book as many individual tickets as there are seats available. Parties of 25+ who want the boat to themselves can reserve a Private Charter.)
Drink & Food Policies:
The boat is stocked with a full range of libations including beer, wine, seltzers, and spirits for tropical mixed drinks. Whitlow’s on Water cruises are not BYOB. For public cruises on evenings and weekends, all passengers (21+) will be offered a complimentary beer, seltzer, hard tea, or wine upon boarding. We also serve non-alcoholic beverages, zero-proof mocktails, soft drinks, and Gatorade.
Light snacks such as chips are available for purchase on board all cruises. During public cruises, you are permitted to bring your own food, but must keep in mind space considerations for shared space with other guests.
