The Tiki boat cruise was wonderful from beginning to end! Went on a Friday evening cruise for a friend's birthday - was such a blast! We had a private both with a restroom and the hour and 45 min cruise was the perfect amount of time to enjoy the river. Would definitely go out on the Potomac with them again if I had the chance!

Second time booking with Potomac Paddle Club and, just like the first time, it was fantastic! Sam and John were wonderful! What a great time was had on a corporate event outing with a team of 12! Captain Rich and Eliza took care of us as we traversed down river through a lot of wind and rain on the first half of the trip. We took shelter under the bridges and they made sure we had the music connected to have group karaoke with our libations. On the way back the sun came back out and the Captain made sure we got some great photos with the monuments in the background and even gave us an extra 15 minutes for rain delay.Definitely a great time and look forward to booking again with the same great team!!!!
We very much enjoyed this cruise. Our captain and bartender were sweet, funny engaging and took us to all the best spots on our sunset/moonlight cruise of the monuments. The only disappointment was that we were instructed not to bring our own provisions and when we boarded were informed that that there were no non-alcholic beverages available for purchase. With 6 guests under 21 and 2 adult non-drinkers in our party, it would have been nice to have the option to purchase sodas, juices, seltzers or anything else non-alcoholic to drink. Room temperature water was the only option available to them. That should be fixed but everything else was great.
Great crew on the boat. Perfect ambiance and views! Highly recommend the all-inclusive package to make it easy for party planning. They have a great selection of beverages to chose from. Love that you could bring your own food onboard. The team building event was such a hit, all of our employees are asking for another Tiki Cruise next month.

We had a blast on our Tiki Cruise out of Georgetown this past weekend. Emily, Sam, and Bennett could not have been more accommodating and helpful to our group. Pick-up was super timely, connecting our music was easy, they helped us get some great photos near the monuments, and the boat was comfortable and clean. Would highly recommend Potomac Paddle Club for a fun group celebration in DC!

So much fun! Hannah and Graham and Matt were the best crew and we had a blast. The boat is a great size and includes a bathroom, water, and a cooler if you bring your own bottles as well as cans to buy. Nice route and it's fun to stop at Columbia Island!
Very cool experience! It was 10ish of us and we had a great time. Got to bring drinks and snacks (no liquor) and they stop halfway for a bathroom break. You get control of the speakers and the attendants are helpful. Highly recommend taking it at nighttime on a full moon if you can, looks great in photos.

I had the best experience ever with Matt and Danny! They were so great and so kind!
I would leave them 0 stars if I could. I booked for 8 people on my birthday and needed to add more the day of. They said that it was windy but they ultimately confirmed that they would still go out for the day. After confirmation, I proceeded to book the extra tickets. An hour before departure they ultimately canceled on me, when my guests had already arrived at the wharf. They refused to refund me even for the delta that I booked the day of. They’ve also not responded to my inquiry about rebooking. This is a seriously shady company with their cancellation policy. Tourists not from the area should stay away — they will take your money and run

We booked a trip through Potomac Paddle club for their third year in a row. Once again, the reservation process was very straightforward. We got the date and time we needed out of Georgetown. The crew was wonderful. The weather was beautiful and we got some great pictures. We definitely plan to continue our annual trip!

We rented the tiki boat this past weekend to celebrate my boyfriend’s birthday and it was a blast! The boat was nice and spacious, they allowed us to play our own music and bring a bunch of food and drinks onboard, and the workers were so friendly. It was definitely a vibe! 10/10 recommend!

Had a fantastic time on the trip out of Georgetown even though it was a chilly /windy day. They were prepared and even had blankets. Apparently the public cruises were just added prior to our booking. This allowed us to have a small birthday celebration with another couple without having to book the whole boat. There were others on the trip, but it didn't feel too crowded for a Friday evening. Good views of the monuments, and it was nice that you didn't have to peddle if you didn't want to. Our captain and "boat-tender" were friendly as well. I'll be back!

We had a group of 9, plenty of room for all. You could sit on a bike or a bench or stand. A great 2 hour ride. They brought ice, they have a cooler in the table top to keep drinks cold, they have a bathroom, had a recycle bin and a garbage bin. They were on time and left a few minutes early. The 2 person crew were very friendly and accommodating. Well worth the relatively cheap price. Will definitely do it again. Highly recommend.

We had the BEST time. Sam and her dad the captain were exceptional hosts and facilitated a wonderful family memory. My mom who is 89 was greeted by Sam who set my mom up on a comfortable bench fortified by life jackets. Sam and her dad were engaging, knowledgeable about the waterfront and made my family feel right at home. We had 12 of us and this was absolutely the highlight of the 4th of July weekend.We have over the years done other boat rides and this by far was the most enjoyable. I booked the boat for my bday and the weather was trash but we had a great time on the boat. The staff was awesome, the boat has everything you could need. It is great because they charge per person (8 person minimum) and we all know that people flake out and other people want to add, so you didn't need to know the exact number until you showed up. The flexibility was an added bonus. Will definitely be booking again for a nicer weekend. (I'd love if there was a 3 or 4 hour option, 2 never seems like enough!)

My cousin reserved the up-to-6-passenger Tiki cruise as a local bachelorette party for me and our group of 3 had a blast.Captain Matt not only gave us a great ride and was full of DC trivia we weren’t familiar with even after 15 years of living in the DMV area - but also let my cousin do a little decorating for the occasion, and passengers can byo food and alcohol. We opted to cruise directly underneath the flight path for jets landing at DCA for a few exhilarating flyovers, then took in the Lincoln Memorial from the water.Want to play your own tunes? Connect to the onboard Bluetooth speaker. Hair getting in your face? Captain Matt has hair ties for you. Even for a short trip we felt like we had a full service experience.Perfect idea for guests in town as a new and fun way to experience the area, or for an occasion.

The whole evening was just magical! We had an amazing and very unusual Bridal Shower. At first, the idea of doing a Bridal Shower in a Tikiboat seem to be crazy, but after having the experience in this cruise it turned out to be the best bridal shower I have ever attended. I will highly recommend it. It was the most exciting and beautiful experience with the gals. I can’t wait to celebrate my bday with my friends! This is was definitely an amazing treat. The Captain and assistant was very in control of everything | I felt completely safe with them.
Matt was the coolest captain! He allowed us to do our own thing if we wanted but when we asked he gave us so much information about what we were seeing and even just marine info, honestly would come back just to have him captain us! Aside from the captain, the boat was so perfect for the 6 of us, 10/10 would recommend for every group interested!

We had an amazing time exploring DC from the Potomac. (We were also celebrating a recent engagement in our friend group!) The captains aboard were so kind and very professional. Highly recommend this sort of adventure on a scorching hot day where walking to see monuments wouldn’t exactly be pleasant. Loved getting to sip and talk to my friends while the tiki club took care of the rest. Restroom onboard was clean and accessible.

The takito is the best boat in experience ever. You play your own music and enjoy your group with a super cool professional captain . You will not be disappointed. We rented out the Tikito Boat from the Navy Yard for the 6 of us and had so much fun. We were given the choice of what we wanted to see during our 2 hour ride, we chose to go by Reagan and watch the planes landing/taking off. We brought our own drinks/snacks and were able to connect to the Bluetooth speaker on board. Would definitely recommend this experience and to ask for Captain Matt!

We were a group of 13 women in Baltimore for a long weekend and wanted a fun way to see some of the Harbor area. The Paddle Tour was so much fun and a perfect adventure! Our captains Tobi and Dillon were amazing and let us have so much fun, pretty sure the Harbor area was not expecting such a fun crew at 11 in the morning! Perfect way to see the Harbor!

My partner and I hosted a retreat this past weekend in DC, and took a leap of faith booking a tiki cruise for our attendees based on Google reviews. Boy, are we glad we did! It was the highlight of the entire weekend, and the staff on the boat was phenomenal. Our captain was Steve, and he was the perfect mix of fun, informative, and kept us feeling safe and relaxed.The Customer service of both SeaSuite cruises and the onboard staff exceeded our expectations.Our cruise had a Bluetooth speaker that connected to smart phones – if you’re going on one of these cruises, I highly recommend having a playlist ready to go!

We did an 8:30pm Potomac Tiki Club cruise tonight on the Potomac River. The night was beautiful and the cruise was smooth. I definitely recommend scheduling this especially with the upcoming fall foliage. Gorgeous and so much fun for families and friends.

The booking experience and customer service was HORRIBLE…..I had been reaching out for a whole week both via phone and email to try to change my booking time. I was finally able to reach someone the day before my reservation to see if I still could change my time, and was told that I couldn’t because they didn’t have the staff available to do so even though the time slots were still available on the website for booking.After reaching back out to sea suites directly to see if I could get a voucher per the website for a later date and rebook a different boat, I was told that I would need to change reservations a week in advance in which I pointed out that I had been both emailing and calling for the past week to no response. Which is VERY unprofessional.Needless to say, I made it work with my original time, and even though I wasn’t looking forward to my boat ride because of the HORRIBLE service I had prior to getting there…..I would like to say that Nick 10000000% turned the whole entire experience around for us, and is the reason my rating wasn’t a 1 star rating.Nick was not only very professional and very informative, but he also gave very clear and concise directions on how to navigate the boat while also being very friendly, warm, and welcoming. He definitely deserves a raise because he is the reason our experience went from a total disaster to wanting to book again with him, and him specifically.
I saw them on Insta. Had it saved for a special occasion and today was that day. My dad turned 78 and wanted to get out on a boat. It was easy to book and everything went smooth. It was my son’s first time on a boat.

Rented this little dingy for a nice birthday celebration for my wife. The patron was helpful in guiding us to the location along with his pre use information.The boat itself was nice. I think it needs a little bit more power to be able to enjoy the full scenic boundaries... With stopping to eat our lunch, we did not have enough remaining time to visit further along the river so that was cut short because we had to return to the docks in the allotted time...Overall the experience was lovely, I would definitely rent again and recommend to others...

Went on a little booze cruise for a friend's birthday and loved it! We played our own music on a nice sound system, plenty of comfy seating, drinks were reasonably priced, they even had football on 2 TVs! Will definitely be booking again!

We had a terrible experience here. The service was the worst, and the bartender had a rude, dismissive attitude. They seemed annoyed by simple requests and clearly didn’t care about good service.Save your money and go somewhere that values its customers, because this place doesn’t!
The view of Washington is amazing, but the staff was disappointing. The bartender was unprofessional, and they don’t allow you to bring up alcohol bottles even though their website states otherwise. Overall, it was a poor experience with this company.

From the moment we walked in, Shea's friendly demeanor and expert knowledge of cocktails set the tone for a great night.Shea crafted some of the best drinks I’ve ever had, each one perfectly balanced and tailored to our tastes. The ambiance of the place was also quite pleasant, with a relaxed atmosphere and stylish decor.In short, if you’re looking for a memorable night out, WOW is a must-visit, especially if you’re lucky enough to be served by Shea. Their exceptional service truly made the evening special.

We had a wonderful 4 hour cruise along the Potomac River. The 3 person crew was amazing and took care of our every need. They played our favorite music, made excellent drinks and pointed out a lot of the sights along the DC and Virginia waterfront.We will definitely book again I. The future.

One of the best paid on the water experiences I have done in DC, and I’ve tried most of them at this point. Rented the boat for a corporate work outing. Boat was clean and spacious. The crew was friendly and service was great. We did catering through them and food was also delicious. Honestly no complaints, wish it was longer. Lovely Saturday on the water and I’d recommend this to anyone looking to get out on the water in DC! We had some communication issues with setting up catering leading up to the event but they pulled through in time and it all showed up!

My friend had his birthday party on the tiki boat this past weekend and it was an absolute blast. The boat staff and bartender, Shay, were wonderful and provided excellent customer service throughout the ride. One of the cool things about the tiki boat is that it features decor from the old whitlows tiki rooftop, which was a nice touch. 10/10 experience and will hopefully have the opportunity to go again!
Can’t recommend this laid-back Potomac River cruise enough! We are DMV residents and only booked it because we had family in from out-of-town. But after our great experience it’s on our list to do again with other locals just for fun. Our Captains and First Officer/Bartender were fabulous and helped make the whole experience special. One of the best things to do on a beautiful day in DC.
The cruise was stunning at 7:15, and by the time we docked at 8:50, the moon was high, and the breeze felt amazing.I would rate Whitlows on the Water a 2 out of 10. The bartender behaved rudely and ignorant. She seemed more interested in being on her phone than doing her job. In fact, she may need a hearing aid, as she rarely hears when spoken to. Service is so essential at these types of events.Do yourself a favor and take your money elsewhere.
My friends had a great time overall. the entire crew was amazing except the bartender, Shay. I would give this a 5 star review but Shay ruined that. She was rude to my entire party before the boat even left the dock. We all got a feeling that she was tired after bartending all day, which is understandable, but there was no reason to be unpleasant the entire night. She also stated halfway through the ride that “I’m sick of you people.” That was insane because it was mostly minorities in attendance. I would like to come back but, management should seriously consider getting this woman far away from their business. Other than that, Lorenzo and the two captains were AMAZING!
The experience on the tiki boat was nice and relaxing! The bartender and captain were nice and had conversations with us which livened up the ride. The only reason why I’m deducting a star is because of the parking. Parking was confusing and one of the Latino employees working there was rude. He seemed like he didn’t understand English very well so it was hard to understand what he was saying and got frustrated because he’s instructions were not clear and stormed off. I’m not sure if he’s apart of Whitlow on Water or if the parking is handled by a different company, but the parking area needs to be clearly labeled so people know where to park.

We celebrated a joint 30th birthday last weekend on the Whitlow’s Tiki Boat and had an absolute blast! Captain Luke kept us safe and the crew kept the drinks and the fun flowing. While it was a bit chilly outside, the clear roll down windows kept us all warm and having a great time on a breezy day. We had about 35 guests on board, but there still would have been a good amount of space if we had the max of 48. If you are on the fence about booking, I 100% recommend doing a private charter on this boat and including the open bar package as well!
Having been on multiple paddle club boats I didn’t think the experience could get any better, but no surprises that they’ve outdone themselves again with the Whitlows boat! I had such a fun time on this massive new boat and will definitely be back! Captains Jack & Jack & Luke are THE BEST in the biz, highly recommend booking this for your next event!
